As part of the Affordable Care Act, health insurance subsidies are available to help make coverage more affordable to low- and moderate-income individuals and families.1 Furthermore, some states have expanded their Medicaid programs to adults without dependents.

To qualify for this financial assistance, you must purchase your health insurance plan through a state-based or federally facilitated exchange and meet certain household size and income criteria.
