In one month, on Nov. 1, 2015, open enrollment for 2016 health insurance coverage begins. Premium rates and plan availability will be finalized by that date, which means you can’t start shopping yet. 

However, there are things you can do to prepare for 2016 open enrollment in the meantime. Look at our October Obamacare checklist, print it off, and start working your way through it.
